ISLAMABAD: The accountability court adjourned the hearing till Thursday of assets reference case against the former finance minister, Senator Ishaq Dar after recording the statements of four witnesses on Monday.
During proceedings, four witnesses of the prosecutor including a private bank officer, Faisal Shahzad, Director National Assembly Sher Dil Khan, Director Ministry Commerce, Qamar Zaman and Deputy Secretary Cabinet Division Wasif Hussain recorded their statement.
During the hearing, Faisal Shahzad also submitted details of Dar’s wife bank accounts before the court.
Accountability court also directed the NAB to submit its report pertaining to confiscation of properties of Dar and his guarantors.
The court also rejected the Ishaq Dar request of changing his counsel in the case.
Former director NADRA Syed Qaboos Aziz will appear before the court as NAB’s witness in the next hearing.
The accountability reference case has been adjourned until December 21.
