Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan holds Baloch Culture Day celebrations

ZHOB: Like in other parts of Balochistan, the Baloch cultural day also celebrated here in Zhob to highlight the historical significance of the Baloch culture. Zhob Militia held Baloch Culture Day celebrations here. The Para military force held a colorful cultural program in No.1 ground to mark the day, where notables, youngsters and children in a large number participated.

A rally was also taken out to mark the day, which was attended by a large number of people wearing Baloch turbans that accumulated at No.1 ground. The participants of the rally chanted slogans in favour of Pakistan, Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan. Commandant Zhob Militia Col. Rehan Satti led the rally. Syed Afzal Shah, Ajmal Awan, Kamal Khan, Naeem Mandokhail, Raz Muhammad Sherani, Maghfirullah Kakar, Nadir Baloch and Marjan Mandokhail also attended the cultural ceremony. Youngsters presented traditional dance on drum beats on the occasion.

Addressing the participants Commandant Zhob Militia Col. Rehan Satti wished Baloch people a cheerful cultural day. Notables Sardar Nasir Khan Nasar, Fazal Amin Mandokhail, Ajmal Awan and Syed Afzal Shah also spoke on the occasion and said that besides the Baloch dominated areas, the entire province is celebrating the cultural day. Interaction with other ethnicities is pushing us towards understanding each other’s cultural values and proves that we are united. They said.

It is worth noticing, that every year the 2nd of March is marked as Baloch Culture Day. The day is marked by wearing traditional dresses and holding celebrations across the province. Celebrating the day is a best mean to shield tradition, civilization and culture. It shows ones fashion, lifestyle, emotions with civilization. The most distinguishing figure of Baloch from others is the Balochi female dresses; the women stitch their dresses traditionally. These Baloch dresses are very famous in the country.
