RAWALPINDI : Frontier Corps North, in collaboration with Construction, Technology & Training Institute (CTTI) Rawalpindi, is sponsoring two short courses aimed at enhancing mining industry skills for the students from Bajaur, Mohmand and Khyber districts.
The courses, which include Heavy Machinery and Dumper Driver training, commenced on April 1, 2023 and will continue until June 30, 2023.
The students are undergoing comprehensive training that includes practical sessions to learn the latest skills in operating heavy machinery and dumper trucks. The program has allotted 50 vacancies to students from Bajaur, Mohmand, and Khyber, ensuring equal opportunity for each district.
This initiative by Frontier Corps North is expected to have a positive impact on the local labour force in the mining industry, providing them with the necessary skills to thrive in the field.
The aim is to inspire similar steps by other organizations to improve the skills of local communities in various industries.
The courses at CTTI Rawalpindi are being conducted under the supervision of experienced instructors, who are providing hands-on training to the students. The tribal students are enthusiastic about the opportunity to learn and acquire skills that can open up employment opportunities in the mining industry.
