Furnished quarantine centers set up in Landi Kotal

LANDI KOTAL: Four quarantine centers equipped with all facilities are set to accommodate coronavirus suspected people here on Thursday. A separate cell for each suspected person in the centers, furnished with all necessary needs had been set up to reduce threat of coronavirus spread.

Additional Assistant Commissioner Shamsul Islam said that in first phase four quarantine centers had been furnished to house 787 suspected of COVID 19. He added that health staff members had been appointed at the centers to provide health facilities to them. A separate kitchen had been set up at C&W office in Landi Kotal to supply two times meals and breakfast to all COVID 19 patients and quarantined persons, he added and saying the district administration would monitor the activities. According to the health department there are four COVID 19 effectees and 16 suspected persons have been quarantined in Headquarter Hospital, Landi Kotal.
