Lahore: During the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, disconnecting another 74 connections; Rs 2.55 million fine imposed
In Multan, the regional team disconnected 3 connections on illegal use of gas. In Peshawar 45 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas and amount of Rs 1.61 million have been booked against gas theft cases and 7 FIRs Lodged against gas thieves. In Rawalpindi & Islamabad the team disconnected 5 connections on illegal use of gas and amount of Rs 0.21 million have been booked against gas theft cases. In Bahawalpur the regional team disconnected 4 connections on illegal use of gas. In Mardan, the regional team disconnected 10 connections on illegal use of gas. The team also imposed fine of Rs 0.44 million against gas theft cases.
In Faisalabad the regional team disconnected 1 connection on illegal use of gas. The team also imposed fine of Rs 0.02 million against gas theft cases. In Gujranwala, 3 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas. The team also imposed fine of Rs 0.27 million against gas theft cases. In Sargodha, 1 connection was disconnected on illegal use of gas. In Gujrat, 1 connection was disconnected on illegal use of gas. In Sahiwal, 1 connection was disconnected on illegal use of gas and 1 FIR Lodged against gas thieve.
