LAHORE: Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Alfred Grannas met with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
In the meeting, commitment to strengthen mutual relations was reiterated.
Maryam Nawaz appreciated the quick action of the German authorities on the attack of miscreants on the Pakistani embassy in Germany.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that it is hoped that the people involved in the Germany incident will be brought to justice and such incidents will not happen in the future.
The meeting discussed the promotion of bilateral relations.
Economic cooperation, cooperation in technical education were also discussed in the meeting.
Chief Minister Punjab appreciated Germany’s ongoing cooperation and investment in the development sectors of Punjab, while possibilities of further cooperation in various sectors including renewable energy, vocational training and information technology were also reviewed.
German Ambassador Alfred Grannas reiterated his determination to strengthen mutual relations with Punjab and appreciated the efforts of the provincial government in creating a favorable environment for foreign investment in Punjab.
In the meeting, mutual cooperation was agreed in achieving sustainable development goals, promoting innovation and technological development.
In the meeting of the two leaders, the possibilities of possible partnership in health, education and other sectors were reviewed
Chief Minister Punjab assured full support in providing facilities required by German investors and businesses. During the meeting measures to increase technical education and vocational training programs in Punjab were also discussed.
Maryam Nawaz said we want to equip the youth with skills that meet the requirements of the job market.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Germany is the global leader in renewable energy issues, Germany has served humanity by taking environmentally friendly measures.
Solarization project has been started to provide clean and green energy to the citizens of Punjab, said Maryam Nawaz.
Senator Pervez Rasheed and other officials were also present during the meeting.
