KABUL (Khaama Press): Afghan President Ashraf Ghani discussed government’s action with international allies in the fight against corruption and its consequences, according to the Palace, and preparation for the Geneva Conference.
At Presidential Palace (also ARG), the President met Sunday with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Afghanistan Deborah Lyons, the EU Ambassador to Afghanistan Andreas Van Brandt, and the British Ambassador, Alison Blake.
“During the meeting, which took place at the Palace, the two sides discussed the Afghan government’s actions with international allies in the fight against corruption and its consequences, as well as preparations for the Geneva Conference,” ARG said in a tweet.
Meanwhile, Presidential Spokesman Sediq Sediqai affirmed the meeting at Palace in a tweet, but did not provide further details on the talks.
