Ghani dismiss Afghanistan’s envoy for Commonwealth of Nations

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has dismissed Afghanistan’s special envoy to Commonwealth of Nations, the Office of the President said.

According to a statement released from the Office of the President, the decree by President Ghani also orders the cancellation of the Special Envoy’s Office to the Commonwealth of Nations.

The decree states that Afghanistan’s Special Envoy to Commonwealth of Nations Mohammad Shaker Kargar dismissal and cancellation of the Special Envoy’s Office have been approved as per the item 13 of the article 64 of the constitution of Afghanistan.

No further details have been given regarding the circumstances surrounding the dismissal of Mr. Kargar and cancellation of the Special Envoy’s Office to the Commonwealth of Nations. (Khaama Press)
