Ghazni blast leaves civilian dead, injured three others

GHAZNI (Khaama Press): One civilian was killed and three others wounded in a bomb explosion on Saturday in Ghazni province, an official said.

Arif Noori, spokesman for the provincial governor said Saturday that the incident took place after the bomb hidden in snow blasted in Kocha-e-Qasabi area, police district 1 in the provincial capital, in which one civilian was killed and three others were wounded.

According to him, the bomb was set by militants to target the security forces, who were visiting the area to get their food.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing however the Noori blamed the Taliban.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense said Saturday that more than ten Taliban were killed and four others wounded in an air strikes in Qarabagh and Andar districts of Ghazni province.
