HAFIZABAD: A young girl was stabbed to death by her brother in Chak Bhatti. According to police source, accused Hassan Ali suspected the character of his sister Yasmeen and he admonished her to mend her ways but she lent deaf ears to his advice.
On the day of occurrence both the accused and the deceased quarreled over the issue and exchanged harsh language as a result of which, accused got enraged and allegedly pounced upon her with a sharp-aged weapon and killed her on the spot. The police have registered a case against the accused who managed to escape after committing the offence. The body has been shifted to the morgue for autopsy.
