KARACHI: The gold prices Thursday hit back again due to the dollar being expensive in Pakistan.
According to the All Pakistan Jewellers Association, the price of 24-Karat gold reached Rs1,97,700 per tola after seeing an increase of Rs400 per tola.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-Karat gold reached Rs1,69,496 after seeing an increase of Rs343.
The price of 22-Karat gold, used in making the jewellery, reached Rs1,55,371 per 10 grams.
In the international market, the price of one ounce of gold decreased by $23 and was being traded for $1,819 per ounce.
On the other hand, the prices of silver in the country decreased as the 24-Karat silver was being traded for Rs2,120 per tola and Rs1,817.55 per 10 grams after seeing an decrease of Rs20 and Rs17.15, respectively.
