KARACHI: The gold prices in Pakistan continued to break records Wednesday despite the yellow metal seeing a big decrease in value in the international market.
The gold price of one tola of 24-Karat gold went up by Rs500 to reach an all-time high of Rs171,400 per tola.
This is the highest price of pure gold 24-karat in the history of Pakistan’s gold market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-Karat gold went also up by Rs429 to reach Rs146,948.
The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold was traded in the local market of Pakistan at Rs134,702.
In the international market, the price of one ounce of gold was decreased by $30 to reach $1,778.
The price of one tola and 10 grams of 24-Karat silver remained stable as they were being traded for Rs1990 and Rs1706.10, respectively.
