KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan touched new peaks as the yellow metal got rose in price in the international market on Friday.
According to details, the price of gold rose by Rs500 per tola and Rs214 per 10 grams to settle at an all-time high of Rs171,900 and Rs147,376 respectively.
The data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) showed that the price of gold in the international market increased by US$4 per ounce to US$1,782 per ounce.
On the other hand, the prices of silver decreased in the domestic market by Rs30 per tola and Rs25.72 per 10 grams to settle at Rs1,960 and Rs1,680.38 respectively.
The association mentioned that the gold rates are all-time highest in Pakistan and Rs3,000 over cost in Dubai gold rates.
