PESHAWAR: Opposition leader Akram Durrani said today (April 30) that they will go to the courts against the Chief Minister Mahmood Khan’s discriminatory behavior and Municipal Amendment Bill in Kyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session on April 29.
Addressing to the conference in opposition chamber, Akram Durrani expressed concern over yesterday’s event and said that the behavior of Chief Minister Speaker Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani and Assembly Secretary was not principled, and totally unbearable. To manipulate a truth is an easy game for Information Minister, he added.
He asserted that government benches get happy on our walkouts. We have a million followers and we will keep fighting. “MPAs are being a victim of discrimination”, he added.
He alleged to have evidence on the corruption taken out in Billion Trees Tsunami program. “Corruption in Billion Tree Tsunami has been unfolding from Swat and other districts as well. Corruption in Billion Trees project, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), and education foundation will be presented in front of the nation,” he expressed.
Few days ago, committee member, who went to inspect the forestation program, Akram Khan Durrani claimed that not even 100 million trees were planted as opposed to the much-bragged one billion figure.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb said few days ago that Prime Minister Imran Khan misinformed about his Billion Tree Tsunami Programme as 90pc of his billion trees are missing in the project.
