Governor ask for more aid

HERAT (Agencies): The Governor of Herat, Sheikh Noor Ahmad Islam Jar, met with the delegation of the United Nations in that province, and called for the increase of humanitarian aid to needy families.
Lately, a delegation of UN traveled to Herat to exchange views on humanitarian aid, and to discuss better cooperation with local authorities of the province, according to a statement.
Meanwhile, the Herat Governor Sheikh Noor Ahmad Islam Jar meeting with UN delegation vowed for any kind of cooperation, in compliance with the country’s laws he said, and asked the humanitarian organizations not to link their mission to political issues.
The governor of Herat called the support of street children and the treatment of drug addicts one of their work priorities, said: Herat’s local administration has taken positive steps in this regard.
