Governor Shah Farman believes presidential system will be better for Pakistan

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman has said that presidential system will be better and more efficient for Pakistan.

This he said during an interview with the private news channel on Friday. Governor Farman said, “As per my culture and with amendment, I think presidential system will be better here and more efficient, corruption will be reduced, there will be no blackmailing, federating units will be protected and [there will be] equal opportunities for all.”

He added that in the parliamentary system, one have to make a lot of compromises for the majority you have to keep and it has negative aspects.

“For an efficient government, you should have the authority to appoint competent people across the country,” the KP governor added.
