Govt called IPC meeting to remove provinces reservations over census result

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has called the meeting of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) Division’s to removed the reservation and their objections over the sixth census in the country.

Earlier this week, the result of sixth census were released after that different political parties including Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Mutahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) and others and they expressed their serious concerned over it and called it rigged.

The Sindh government has also rejected the provincial result of the sixth population census of the country. Senior PPP leader Nisar Khuhro termed it conspiracy against the province from the federal government but PPP will not remain silent over it.

Different political parties announced their protest against it and rejected the result of the census.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday the Chief Commissioner Asif Bajwa rejected the reservations of political parties in this regard and adding that verification of each individual was ensured.
