Govt committed to bring improvement of remote areas

KHAR: Member National Assembly Gull Zafar Khan on Thursday said the PTI government is committed to bring improvement in the lives of the people of hilly and remote areas of Bajaur by providing basic facilities to them.

He stated this while speaking to people of remote and far-flung areas of Salarzai tehsil during his visit to the region. The MNA said the PTI government is aware of the problems and difficulties being faced to the residents of hilly and remote areas of the tribal districts, saying the government is making all out efforts to overcome their problems. He criticized the previous government, the administration and the lawmakers for ignoring the remote and hilly localities of Salarzai tehsil in development projects.

However, the MNA has assured the people to give special attention to the remote and backward areas in the development projects in order to ensure basic facilities to its residents. Gul Zafar Khan has also announced installation of solar panels at main mosques of the region. The people on the occasion informed the MNA about the problems and issues being faced with them.

They were their views that majority of people of Salarzai tehisl are living in hilly and remote localities, but the government, the administration and the former lawmakers had did not take any step for improvement of their lives. They said the people have attached great expectation to the PTI government to bring positive and visible changes in their lives by launching development schemes in the areas.
