Govt initiates several programs to ensure rights of people: Asad

HOUSTON: Pakistan Ambassador to Washington, Dr. Asad M. Khan said that a growing country like Pakistan needs better service delivery underpinned by more accountable governance.

This is being achieved by setting up citizen portals which provides an opportunity for common people to raise their voice and respond whenever and wherever they feel like. The system, certainly moving in the right direction with full dedication, is geared to respond to the needs of the people of Pakistan.

Ambassador Khan stated that the present Govt has initiated “Ehsaas and Kifalat” Program which will take care of the right to Education and Health to be given to the people of Pakistan not as matter of policy but as a fundamental right as envisaged in the Constitution of Pakistan.
