Govt must resolve the issues of Tribal area

ISLAMABAD: Government must resolve the issues of the people of Tribal area including compensation to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Operation Reh-e-Nijjat culminated in South Waziristan area during 2009. It was observed by the PTI Senator Dost Muhammad Khan along with member National Assembly JUI (F) Maulana Jamal-ud-din during a news conference in Islamabad on Friday.
According to Senator Dost Muhammad, there is serious need of resolving the issues of local tribes, which have shaped into a grave situation and creating mistrust among the tribal people. He noted that local administration and government institutions are not demonstrating seriousness in ending miseries of the people and there are genuine fears that anti-state elements can use this mistrust and confusion for their nefarious designs.
Maulana Jamal-ud-Din informed the media men that the land mines had not still removed from South Waziristan district and had caused several causalities and property damage in the past. He advocated to provide government jobs to the people of tribal area to win their hearts. The two Politicians stressed the need to work collectively above the party politics for betterment and welfare of the people of tribal area.
Maulana Jamal-ud-din said, the people of the area are being chased in the name of security by the local administration and warned the government that depression is growing every single day in the people of the area, if remedy measure would not be taken, the situation can be deteriorated more rapidly.
The speakers demanded that the arrested innocent people must be released immediately, and necessary measures should be taken to stop occurrence of such incidents in the area.
Senator Dost Muhammad noted that government had promised to allocate 3 percent of NFC for merged districts of Ex. FATA, however government did not stand up to its words and promises made at the time of merger had not been fulfilled by the government so far. The two leaders argued that government to take serious and practical steps to resolve the problems of the people of tribal areas so the anti-state elements could not utilized these anti-government sentiments for their hateful agenda.
