Govt to establish computerized land bank in Board of Revenue: Anwar

LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Revenue Malik Muhammad Anwar has said that the provincial government has decided to establish computerized land bank in Board of Revenue. He said complete record of retrieved state land from Qabza Mafia is being restored in land bank.

While talking to media persons in his office on Wednesday, he said that modern and latest centralized system of land bank is being established in Board of Revenue where data of state land of 36 districts will be collected and stored. This data will be collected from the deputy commissioners of the districts.

Malik Muhammad Anwar said that a comprehensive crackdown against land grabbers is being carried out throughout the province. He further maintained that Board of revenue has adopted a zero-tolerance policy against Qabza Mafia.

The provincial minister said that the government is working to eradicate status quo and corruption in the same time. Land bank will greatly help to eradicate corruption in revenue matters, he added.
