Govt to launch Insaf Emergency Cab service in tribal districts

PESHAWAR: Health Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to launch Insaf Emergency Cab Services in the province and newly merged districts to facilitate the poor people at their door step with quick and quality health services.

According to the health department handout issued on Wednesday, a meeting of the health department officials was held in chair with KP health minister, Dr. Hisham Inamullah Khan here at health secretariat Peshawar. During the meeting different health related issues were discussed in details and several decisions were also made.

In the meeting it was decided to start Insaf Emergency Cab services at DHQs, THQs, RHCs and BHUs levels under which the emergency patients would be rushed to the hospitals through health department vehicles, so as they may not face any problem in getting quick health aid. Dr. Hisham Inamullah asked the officials to fulfill all the requirements in this regard.

Health minister said Insaf Emergency Cab service will especially benefit the poor patients in remote sites of the province including merged districts.

The minister made clear that there is no space for the corrupt and irresponsible employees and government will take strict action against them.

He said there is a reward and punishment system in health department, so as the system could be put on right direction.

All doctors and other staff should work sincerely and serve the poor patients coming to the government hospitals with this hope that they will be provided with quick and quality services.

He was of the view that according to the vision of Prime Minister, Imran Khan, they are trying to bring reforms in the health sector and people will soon see visible change in coming days.
