Govt to promote KP tourism: CM

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has said that the government is working on comprehensive plan to promote tourism in the province.

He said, “Concrete steps being taken for promoting tourism sector across KP.”

Talking to a delegation of Gandhara Art & Culture Association in Peshawar on Sunday, Mahmood Khan said that 13 new tourist spots have been identified which will be provided state of the art facilities for tourists.

He said government has chalked out a comprehensive plan to facilitate the local and foreigner tourists in the province.

Meanwhile presiding over a meeting, the Chief Minister KP directed concerned authorities to prepare a model for “Sasta Ghar Programme” in Peshawar and Hangu districts.

Mahmood Khan also directed housing department to prepare a report in this regard.
