SIALKOT: Vice President of Pakistan Tax Bar Association (PTBA) Muhammad Saqib Sheikh has said that the government is making all-out efforts to facilitate taxpayers and ensuring economical and financial stability through expanding tax net. He was talking to the media at Gujranwala on Thursday.
He said that the federal government has recently passed a law to establish separate directorate of “Broadening of the Tax Base” in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), which would ensure maximum facilitation to taxpayers.
Muhammad Saqib said that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has also introduced a system of “ODS” (Operational Database System) under which the competent officials of the FBR would have the easy access to all the account holders’ bank accounts.
