Govt will offer amnesty scheme to end corruption: Law Minister

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Law and Justice Farogh Naseem says the government would end corruption by offering an amnesty scheme to the people.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the amnesty scheme will only be offered to those who have not held any public office.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to give people the last chance by offering the scheme.

The law minister said Federal Board of Revenue has collected complete data of all Pakistanis.

He said corruption has badly damaged the country’s economy and it will take time to bring things on right track by taking the difficult decisions.

He underlined the need for bringing strict laws to eradicate corruption from the country.
