Hamza takes notice as PML-N MPAs meet Buzdar

F.P. Report

LAHORE: Expressing his anger, Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz on Tuesday took serious notice of a meeting of PML-N MPAs with Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

Hamza’s reaction came as the development shows that the PML-N is experiencing fissures within its ranks and possible split. It was not only the PML-N lawmakers but also from the PPP who were present in the meeting with CM Buzdar.

According to a press release, the six lawmakers from PML-N and one from PPP expressed their full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Buzdar, as they announced their unconditional support. They assured the chief minister that they would remain allied with the government.

Speaking on the occasion, Buzdar said the government would give respect to them as the public issues were to be resolved on an urgent basis. The chief minister said the previous rulers had destroyed the country and the incumbent government was tackling the problems created by them, which came into power during a very difficult period.

“The change is coming,” he remarked and said no hurdle in the way of public service would be tolerated. Those who met the chief minister were: Nishat Ahmed Daha, Ghayasuddin, Chaudhry Ashraf Ali, Faisal Khan Niazi, Ghazanfar Ali Khan, Muhammad Arshad, Azhar Abbas and Younus Ali Ansari. PML-Q leader Tahir Basharat Cheema was also present on the occasion.
