Hania Aamir calls Pakistan, India ‘estranged cousins’

(Web Desk): Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has called Pakistan and India “estranged cousins,” emphasizing their shared cultural heritage.

In a recent interview with CNN, Hania reflected on her achievements in 2024 and expressed hopes for the new year 2025.

The actress described 2024 as a landmark year in her career. Her portrayal of Sharjeena in the hit drama ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ garnered immense praise, with fans affectionately calling her by her character’s name.

She also gained global attention during her world tour, highlighted by an appearance at Diljit Dosanjh’s concert, where the audience erupted in cheers as he invited her on stage. 

Hania revealed her excitement about starring in Netflix’s first-ever Pakistani original web series. Sharing her joy, she said, “It’s an honour to work alongside seasoned actors. This is a dream come true.” 

Addressing her role as a Gen Z icon, Hania stated she focuses solely on her craft and doesn’t let external pressures affect her.
