Haqqani urges unity, warns against actions weakening the system

KABUL (TOLONews): Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, the acting Minister of Interior, emphasized the need to eliminate divisions and mistrust in the country. He made the remarks during a graduation ceremony for security forces in Maidan Wardak.

Haqqani urged security forces to treat the people well to ensure their satisfaction, saying: “Our unity and success depend on obedience. Our success in this life and the hereafter relies on this obedience. Any community that lacks obedience and is plagued by division will face hardship and difficulties.”

In his speech, he further advised security forces to avoid actions that lead to mistrust, disobedience, and division and to carry out their duties responsibly.

“We must distance ourselves from anything that leads to negligence. We should refrain from actions that weaken the Islamic system. Any behavior that causes division, discomfort, or misconduct should be avoided,” Haqqani said.

Previously, during the opening of a mosque in Kabul, the acting Minister of Interior emphasized refraining from all forms of division and warned that no one would be allowed to harm the unity among the country’s ethnic groups.
