Hayatabad police versus citizens

Of late the police of Hayatabad Phase-7 Police Station personnel have adopted an attitude of creating troubles for the law abiding citizens by puncturing the tires of vehicles parked outsides houses at the time of Maghrib prayer in mosques. Normally, the government offices close at 5 PM and the employees after returning from duty park their vehicles outside their houses for some time in order to use them for going to markets and shopping to buy goods of daily use.

The other day in the evening, policemen have driven needles in all the four the tires of hundreds of vehicles in Phase-6 and Phase-7 and indulged in altercations with owners who pleaded that they will park their cars inside their houses when they are done with house hold shopping. This sort of unfriendly attitude shown towards law abiding citizens is nothing but to force them park their vehicles in the PDA parking lots which have not been officially auctioned to contractors. The unauthorized contractors of these parking facilities charge Rs.40 per vehicle on fake token slips. Not a single penny of the collected token fee is deposited in the provincial exchequer. Such like practices of the police in collusion with PDA officials will bring a misnomer for provincial police as whole.
