Health Directorate employee on protest

PESHAWAR: Employees of Health Directorate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are on protest for the last one week After clashes with lawyer over grabbing the area of health directorate while the official of government were not taking steps to resolve the matter as many important work has been postponed in the health directorate.

Last week lawyers have warned and threat the health directorate employees to vacate the area otherwise they will face the music as a result the directorate employees decide to not attend duties until the government solve the problem with the layers.

The employees were of the view that lawyers have intruded in the area of health directorate but unfortunately there were no one to take action against them and protect the employees of health directorate from lawyer’s hooliganism.

Focal person of the protesting employees Temor Khan said that senior officer’s revenue and estate’s has allotted this land to health department and the lawyers land grabbing was totally illegal but they have claimed that the entire DG office is their property and they would forcefully vacate this building.

He said that there is a sense of security among the employees of health directorate as there were valuable records of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Provincial Directorate and that was the reason that these employees do not want tussle with lawyer’s community over government property.

He informed that despite the presence of police Lawyers have broken the door of health department and bulldozed a wall erected by health department for their protection. He said that in this situation, it was difficult for them to continue their work in directorate of health as lawyer may attack their offices.

He further added that all government employees’ coordination council of health department will lock down their offices in Nowshera, Charsadda, Peshawar and Mardan.

He said the employees of DHO office in all four districts will come to secretary health office and later will stage protest in front of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to force the government to resolve this issue.
