KARACHI: Perturbed over the less sale of tickets owing to the shortage of planes at their fleets, local airlines have substantially increased the fares of their flights within the country, on Wednesday.
Sources told 24News that the one-way fare of Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) flight from Lahore to Karachi had risen to Rs31, 000, while that of Serene Air to Rs33, 000, Air Blue’s to Rs31, 900, and AirSial’s to Rs32, 700.
AirSial has now started charging Rs40, 200 from the passengers travelling from Karachi to Lahore, while Air Blue has increased its fare to Rs34, 800 for the same route.
