Herat Municipality to invest 700m Afs in uplift projects

HERAT (Agencies): The Governor of Herat province, Maulana Noor Ahmad Islam Jar, has praised the services provided by the Herat Municipality to the citizens of the province.
He noted that after 40 years of conflict, the country’s security has been maintained, and the number of kidnapping cases has dropped to zero, creating an opportunity for development.
In a meeting with the municipality officials, the Revenue Director Mawlavi Jamil Jawad reported that the municipality collected 874,922,245 Afghanis in revenue during the last solar year.
He also announced that the department is ready to invest over 700 million Afghanis in development projects in the province for the current year.
