F.P. Report

LAHORE: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq appreciating the commitment of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar for the supremacy of the constitution and the democratic system, has said that it was the need of the hour that general elections should held as per schedule and even a single day delay in the democratic process could have serious consequence.

Speaking at a high level meeting of the JI at Mansoora on Tuesday, Sirajul Haq further said that the care taker set up must be truly impartial. Expressing serious concern over increasing in load shedding in the country, he said that in spite of the tall claims of the rulers, load shedding up to 18 hours a day was going on in the rural areas and from ten to twelve hours load shedding in urban areas.
