PESHAWAR: Hong Kong ran down Pakistan’s quest for the title after securing a one-sided victory in the final of the Asian Team Squash Championship played at South Korea on Sunday.

Pakistan’s top guns Farhan Zaman and Tayyub Aslam did not succumb to the pressure from Hong Kong players and lost the two singles very quickly, apart from some see saw battle between Tayyub Aslam and Hong Kong’s Au Chung Ming. Pakistan Men’s team won the silver medal and women’s team secured 8th place in the tournament. It was the first singles when Le Ho Yin of Hong Kong recorded a straight sets victory against Farhan Zaman, the score was 11-9, 11-9 and 11-7.
