SWABI: A house was gutted with precious household worth millions due to fire here on Sunday.
According to details, fire erupted house of one Ameer Muhammad in Mohallah Bara Khel of tehsil Topi in district Swabi.
Due to lack of fire brigades in TMA Topi, the local people started efforts to extinguish the blaze on self-help basis. Later the fire tenders were called from TMAs Razar, Ghazi and Gadoon Economic zones.
Meantime, the house was gutted completely with households worth millions.
The locals protested over lack of fire brigades in TMA Topi and demanded provision of fire tender besides financial assistance of the victim family.
