Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand likely to reunite for the sequel of Bang Bang
ISLAMABAD: Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are all smiles given the massive success of War at the box office. Their movie which is produced by Yash Raj Films has collected Rs 130 crore within four days of its release. This is Hrithik and director Siddharth Anand’s second big-screen collaboration after the 2013 hit, Bang Bang!, which released on the same day as War, 6 years ago.
Bang Bang! starring Katrina Kaif and Hrithik had also fared well at the box-office in 2013. And ever since, there have been speculations about its sequel. In fact, the Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer, A Gentleman was speculated to be a sequel to Bang Bang. However, it wasn’t the case.
When Hrithik and Siddharth were quizzed about the possibility of a sequel to Bang Bang!, by an entertainment channel, they both put the onus on each other. Siddharth said, “Please ask him (Hrithik). Whenever he wants to do, I am ready. I am waiting, dying to do it. It’s a film that we all love. I have great memories of that film. And it’s a franchise that’s waiting to happen. So, please ask him why isn’t he doing it.” To which Hrithik responded, ” “You can see the lies on his face na? Who’s waiting for whom? What do you think, who’s waiting for whom?”
Now that this director-actor duo has proved that they can make magic together yet again with War, we’re sure there’s lot more coming up.
