Hyundai Pakistan cuts car prices

KARACHI: Hyundai Pakistan Thursday announced cutting the car prices by up to Rs350000 after the drop in Toyota and Honda car prices, on Thursday.

The notification issued by Hyundai-Nishat stated that the prices have been reduced as a result of the Pakistani currency against the US dollar.

It was also stated that the prices may be subject to change and this cut in the prices may only be for a limited time as the economic uncertainty prevails.

According to the notification, Hyundai’s Sonata 2.0 faced a price cut of Rs350000 with the new price set at Rs9.97million

The price of Sonata’s 2.5 liter variant was also cut by Rs350000 which brought it down to Rs10.93million.

The price of Elantra 1.6 was reduced by Rs200000 setting the new price at Rs6.3million, while the new price of the Elantra 2.0 variant was set at Rs6.93million after a Rs200000 drop.

The Tucson GLS, GLS Sport and Ultimate variants faces a price drop of Rs200000 setting the new prices at Rs7.16million, Rs8.03million and Rs8.65million respectively.

The prices of high-deck and flat-deck variants of the Hyundai Porter pickup were cut by Rs100000 bringing the prices at Rs3.72million and Rs3.7million respectively.
