Local officials and some residents of Jawzjan are calling on the new police chief of this province to ensure better security and combat criminal activities in the region.
Gul Haidar Shafaq, the governor of Jawzjan, said: “We must strive to keep our doors open to the public. If they come and their work is not done the same day, we should give them a specific time to return, whether in the morning, afternoon, or another week. We must consider this.”
Bashir Ahmad, a resident of Jawzjan, said: “We ask the new police chief to fight against criminal activities so that people can live in peace.”
Nasrullah, another resident of Jawzjan, said: “In addition to security, attention should be paid to unity among the people, and ethnic, regional, and linguistic discrimination should be eliminated, so that the people are not divided into various groups.”
Based on the decree of the leader of the Islamic Emirate, Abdul Wali Atqani, who previously served as the Head of Human Resources at the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, replaced Hafizullah Pahlawan as the new police chief of Jawzjan.
