PESHAWAR: Central General Secretary ANP Mian Iftikhar Hussain Wednesday condemned the thrashing of Pakhtun and Baloach students in Punjab University and demanded of concerned authorities to release them and withdraw cases.
He was talking to a delegation of Pakhtun Student Federation (PSF) led by Chairman Central Organizing Committee PSF Haqnawaz Khatta. The delegation apprised Mian Iftikhar Hussain regarding happen in Punjab University.
Mian Iftikhar expressing concerns over the incident said that all the arrested should be released immediately. He said that if discriminatory attitude was continued against Paktun and Baloach students, it would produce negative impact on the country.
He said that such incidents would create hatred and damaged the respect of educational institutions adding that congenial environment should be provided enabling students to continue their studies.
Mian Iftikhar also urged the students to focus their studies with dedication and responsibility.
