IG visits police school Mardan

MARDAN: The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Salahuddin Khan visited Police School of Public Disorder and Riot Management at Mardan on Wednesday.

The IGP after attending a briefing at school went round different sections of the school and inspected the ongoing academic activities and the training being imparted to the jawans. The IGP also witnessed the practical demonstration of dispersing the mob of the under training trainees. It may be recalled that so for more than 3 thousands police officers and jawans had been trained in the school which also included 150 DSPs.

In the school police officers and jawans are being trained in mob Psychology, negotiation skills and special needs of the vulnerable groups. The Inspector General of Police informed that all field officers including DPOs will attend the courses being held in the school and the master trainers to be trained in the school will further train officers at district level.
