PESHAWAR: Social workers from Mohmand district were acknowledged for their remarkable contributions during a meeting with Inspector General Frontier Corps North, Major General Noor Wali Khan, at Fort Balahisar Peshawar.
The meeting highlighted the dedication and talent present among the tribal youth, with a commitment from the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North to empower them through education and skill development initiatives. Major General Noor Wali Khan praised the efforts of social workers in Mohmand district and emphasized the importance of tapping into the potential of tribal youth.
He reiterated the ongoing collaboration between the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North to provide educational opportunities and vocational training to the local community. Among the notable individuals recognized was Najeebullah, who established the Mashaal Library in Yukaghund in 2014 with the support of Frontier Corps.
In 2021, he expanded the library to accommodate children from the area and established the Mashaal Skill Center to empower local women. Additionally, Siraj Khan Safi, an engineer from Mohmand district, was commended for his global representation of Pakistan at various youth conventions and forums. He has also played a significant role as a member of the FATA Youth Jirga, contributing to youth empowerment initiatives in the region.
