IGP visits LRH, inquired after health of injured constable

PESHAWAR (APP): The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Sanaullah Abbasi Friday visited Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Peshawar to inquire about the health of constable Shakeel who got injured while foiling bank dacoity in Nowshera.

On arrival to the LRH the IGP straightaway went to the bed of injured constable Shakeel admitted in the hospital and inquired his health and presented bucket of flowers to him.

The IGP also inquired about details of the incident from him. He also inquired about conditions of the constable and treatment provided to him so far provided to him.
The IGP said that constable Shakeel is a precious asset of the force who exhibited extraordinary courage and gallantry act and no efforts should be spared in his best treatment adding that the expenses of his complete treat will be borne by the department.

The IGP KP While talking to the injured constable the IGP commended the bravery and courage demonstrated by him and other police members of the team by saying that they become a stumbling rock against the armed dacoits and thus added new feathers in the rich cap of the KP police.

The IGP further went on to say that the whole police force was proud of this performance and hoped that they will give tough time to the criminals in future too. The IGP also announced cash award for the whole team of the Nowshera police. It is worth mentioning that the arrested dacoit is involved in Bank dacoities in Peshawar and Khyber districts.

DIG Training Muhammad Imtiaz Shah, DIG Mardan Yaseen Farooq, DPO Nowshera and other high ranking police officers accompanied the IGP on this occasion.
