“I’m in no hurry to get married”–Arjun Kapoor on wedding rumours

Monitoring Desk

MUMBAI: Finally, after several speculations, actor Arjun Kapoor has broken silence on various reports of her marriage with girlfriend Malaika Arora.

The two have been making headlines for months now and rumours of their June wedding have been ruling the internet for quite a while now. Arjun, who will be next seen in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat opened up about the same in a recent interview. Arjun said that he’s in no hurry to get married.

The actor was quoted as, “No, I am not. I’m 33 and you have to take my word when I say, I’m in no hurry to get married. Frankly, if I was tying the knot, people would know about it. Today, nothing stays or needs to be hidden beyond a point.”

When asked if he is anyway affected with the constant rumours about his personal life buzzing on the internet, Arjun stated that he doesn’t really like responding to these rumours. He said, “Speculation is harmless. But I admit, I don’t like to respond to it all the time. Also, it gets tiring for the people involved to constantly react. There has been so much gossip on this subject that even the people who earlier tended to believe it are no longer doing so. I don’t have anything against anyone.”

Later, when he was asked if Malaika is special for her, he added, “Yes, she is.”

On the professional front, Arjun Kapoor will be seen next in India’s Most Wanted. The film is being helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta and hits the screen on 24th May 2019.
