IMF-dictated budget designed to crush poor masses: Murtaza

KARACHI: Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information,  Law and Anti Corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that arrest of Asif  Ali Zardari designed to divert public attention.

He also said that PTI government gives budget on the dictation by the  IMF and designed to crush the poor. This was stated by the PPP leader while addressing a crowded press conference in the media corner of Provincial Assembly of Sindh Wednesday.

Wahab said that Federal Government unveiled the budget in the parliament. This is an anti people budget. Imran Khan Government gives us anti people budget and sure that this budget was designed to crush the poor people of Pakistan. Wahab further said that recent arrest of Asif Ali Zardari and others were made to divert public attention from anti people Budget. The government does not have anything to sell. They are trying to arrest people to hide their failures. Murtaza said that the government tried to rush the budget and even the opposition leaders not facilitated copies of the budget.

He further said that mocked Prime Minister Imran Khan over Twitter saying that “PTIMF” budget history will record how Imran Khan danced as our economy burns.

This is a failure of economy. He further said that the arrest of Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party will not save them from the anger of the people. The budget is over burden on the poor people of Pakistan. Their incompetent and failed government had presented a disappointing budget. The country is in dire economic situation the budget is disappointment, he contended. This budget is an “IMF imposed budget” and despite witch hunting and a reign of terror let lose by the puppet government.

The Advisor to CM on Information Law has said that Pakistan Peoples party is not in need of NRO, he said that the people will come out against price hike and budget issue. Wahab said that the Sindh Government could not get its share of Rs.137 billion in ten months in the head of health sector.

Wahab further said that repeatedly Imran Khan stating that he will not give NRO to any person but he facilitated his sister. Pakistan Peoples Party doesn’t believe on NRO. He further said that in this budget non tax filer given facilities. It is a question mark that in amnesty scheme who are trying to facilitate NRO.

He also said that economic terrorist of this country is Imran Khan. Wahab further said that why PTI government started accountability of last ten years. Why they are silent on accountability of dictator regime. He further said that NAB was targeting only the opposition and his chairman had on record hinted that arrest of government members may result in downfall of present PTI government. The present PTI government was victimizing the opposition to pre-empt the massive protests from  the people against the nose diving of economy  and brutal budgetary attacks on the poor in the form of unbearable inflation, budget deficits, unprecedented price-hike and dollar flight.
