Implement the writ of state is first priority: COAS

PESHAWAR: Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that with the assistance of masses Army was able to won the war against the terrorists and now the peace was restored in most part of the country.

This he said while visiting a Rajgal area of Khyber Agency. COAS was informed that 90% of Rajgala area was cleared and the terrorist’s hideouts were destroyed.

COAS Bajwa appreciated the professional participation of troops with the support of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and targeting the stronghold of terrorists.

He added that army was trying to maintain the writ of state and rule of law as it was the top most priority of the forces. Earlier Commander Peshawar Corps Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt and IG FC Shaheen Mazhar and commander Khyber 4 operation received the Army Chief on arrival in operational area.
