Important Taliban leader arrested In Samangan

KABUL: Security forces arrested a senior Taliban leader in operation conducted in Samangan province on Monday.

Samangan police told local media that the Taliban leader identified as Shafiullah, was involved in number of attacks in Darahsof district of the province and as per the Police official, Shafi ullah confessed his crimes in the initial investigation.

Taliban has not yet commented.
