Imran just a ‘pawn’, conspirers to face defeat: Maryam Nawaz

F.P. Report

LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz, daughter of the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, on Thursday addressed a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) youth convention in wake of the NA-120 by-election at Aiwan-e-Iqbal.

While addressing the youth convention, Maryam said that she has not seen such enthusiasm in her entire life. “Say Mian sahib I love you,” she asked the audience to repeat the phrase. While addressing the supporters Maryam Nawaz said that only two days are left in NA-120 by-election and she is seeing extreme fervor in the supporters every day.

“This enthusiasm will convert into votes, September 17 will inflict defeat on the forces who conspired against Nawaz Sharif,” she said. She further said that our opponent is petty and coward. “Our opponent conspires away from the battle field, then loses inside not once but frequently, then conspires again,” she claimed.

When the crowd started chanting slogans against Imran Khan she stopped people from taking PTI chief’s name and said that Imran is just a pawn in the bigger game. “When Nawaz Sharif is not in power, country faces all sorts of crisis in the shape of terrorism and loadshedding,” she claimed. “When Nawaz is in power, country is prosperous and he makes CPEC,” she claimed.

Maryam claimed that it is evident that PML-N will win NA-120 by-election. “We have to win this election, and with a great margin,” she announced. While addressing PML-N supporters Maryam urged them to pull out voters in great numbers from every street. “Don’t back down unless you don’t get the news of your mother’s win on September 17,” daughter of Kalsoom Nawaz said.
