Imran Khan predicts incumbent govt has 2-month time

RAWALPINDI: PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has predicted that the incumbent government was getting entangled in the quagmire, the government was running out of time.

Talking to journalists in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi during the hearing of the Al-Qadir Trust case on Thursday, Imran Khan said he was predicting from jail that the government has only two-month time. He said, “They are idiots, they don’t understand”.

To a question about PTI’s involvement in the May 9 tragedy, the PTI founder said, “I will apologize if PTI workers and leaders are identified and shown in the CCTV footage of May 9 tragedy”.

He said that the impression was being created that “I have apologized unconditionally ….it is wrong”. He further said that he was seeking talks only for Pakistan. Imran Khan categorically said: “I will not make any deal. Make as many cases as you want.”

PTI founder also said that no one has contacted him for talks. Imran Khan said, “I will not make a deal. A deal is made by someone who has committed a crime”. He said PTI wants justice in May 9 cases.

PTI founder said “he will present a witness in the Al-Qadir Trust case, but right now he cannot identify because Vigo vehicles will reach to arrest him from his house”.

Imran Khan said that people enjoying key posts in the government were coaxing the Army to destroy PTI. He said that PTI will not accept elections under the supervision of the present set-up.
