Imran Khan will not show up for NA budget session

PESHAWAR: Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), chief Imran Khan is expected to not attend the budget session on Friday in the parliament.

Imran Khan is visiting Peshawar where he will be briefed over the uplift schemes of the province and he will also address to the youth assembly.

Moreover, PTI has finalized the 100 days plan of his government and he will likely announce it during the Lahore rally which is scheduled to be on April 29.

PTI Chief will announce plan related to education, health, employment, peace and progress in country, ways to eliminate corruption, governance free of political pressure, independent foreign policy.

A committee comprised of Jahangir Tareen, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umer, Fawad Chaudhry, Chaudhry Sarwar and others have formed recommendations in this regard.

Federal Budget for the fiscal year 2018-19 with an estimated outlay of Rs 5.5 trillion will be presented in the parliament today, with a likely increase of salary and pension of government employees by 15 percent.
