LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday unleashed verbal onslaught against political opponents and said that state institutions do not require services of anyone in the capacity of spokesperson.
Talking to media persons in Lahore, terming trio of Imran Khan, Tahirul Qadri and Sheikh Rashid as self-proclaimed spokespersons for state institutions, Sanaullah warned that they should be barred from doing so through written means.
He termed ‘establishment’ a name of thinking which can be present anywhere. While dismissing rumors of cracks within the PML-N, Sanaullah said that party stands united under leadership of Nawaz Sharif and that there exists no forward block.
“We would emerge triumphant in 2018 polls as voters have become more aware of politics. Nawaz would accelerate political activities across country”, he added.
He emphasized that it would be difficult for any one to visit his constituency if he leaves Nawaz Sharif in difficult times. He pointed out that Nawaz Sharif worked to end load shedding and rootout terrorism and his EPEC projects have earned respect from the people.
He said Sheikh Rashid and Imran Khan have made records of bad mounting and was of the view that they alongwith Ch Pervez Elahi would not win next elections.
To a question, Sanaullah that Asif Ali Zardari has made efforts for the revivial of PPP in Punjab saying that the PPP is a federal party and it was need of the hour to strengthen every party in the four provinces for the cause of democracy.
He hoped that the new Chai8rman would be able to change the perception about NAB and if he succeeds, it will be good for the country.
